Sadly, not all girls have the perfect hair conditions. Some has dry and flaky hair while others have oily hair. And frankly, not all of us can afford high-end treatments to keep our locks happy and healthy. But do not fret – some of the solutions to your problems can be found in your kitchen.

Here are tips to keeping your hair beautiful and healthy.

For Dry Hair:


  • 3 tablespoons extra virgin oil
  • 2 eggs

Directions of use:

  1. Mix all ingredients and apply it to hair for 20 -30 minutes.

Eggs are rich in protein that helps make hair follicle stronger. Thus, hair strands are less likely to break. While the olive oil does not only give your hair a healthy shine, it also protects your hair by coating the damage layers with its fatty acids.


For oily hair:


  • Apple cider vinegar
  • Water

Directions of use:

  1. Mix apple cider vinegar with 1 quart of water.
  2. Shampoo and rinse with mixture
  3. After a few minutes, rinse with well with

Apple cider vinegar helps cleanse the scalp and remove impurities, getting rid of the build up on the scalp that makes the hair oily.


For dry and flaky hair:


  • 1 ripe banana
  • Honey
  • Almond oil or extra virgin olive oil

Directions of use:

  1. Mash ripe bananas in a bowl
  2. Add honey and a few drops of almond oil or extra virgin olive oil
  3. Leave on hair for 20 to 30 minutes

The mixture will help add moisture to your hair as the banana keeps the hair healthy and hydrated. With regular use, it would also help relieve itching scalp.
